Psychological Health & Safety In the Workplace

This workshop will help us better understand the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace and its importance in promoting good mental health and preventing psychological harm at work.  Insight into how “the standard” is a framework for individuals and organizations to guide valuable mental health efforts is also discussed.

This webinar will feature Renée Charette, Trainer/Facilitator, Mental Health Works - CMHA 

Renée is a bilingual Mental Health Trainer and Facilitator of French Irish settler descent. She works, plays, and studies from Treaty 13 territory, in Tkaronto (Toronto). They have 20 years of experience teaching self-care, self-efficacy, and self-expression. Renée is passionate about building community resiliency through life-long learning. She graduated with honours from Toronto Metropolitan University with a B.A. in Child and Youth Care Counselling and a minor in Psychology. Currently, Renée is a student in the M.A. in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. She holds a Leadership Certificate in environmental stewardship and studied Biological Sciences in French at York University’s Glendon campus. Her deepest joy comes from discovering our connection with Self, others, and our natural environments. Renée is a writer, a dancer, a parent to medically complex children, and an advocate for amplifying Indigenous youth voices.
