    Join us on April 6th at 11:00 AM for a webinar on the "Residual Radioactivity Due to Medical Procedures: Guidelines on Autopsies, Cremations, Embalmments and Burials. Medical treatments involving the use of nuclear substances are common throughout Canada and many parts of the world. Residual radioactivity will remain in a human body from a few days to over one year, depending on the type of procedure and radioisotope.

    This webinar will be presented by Rachel Timmins, Project Officer at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) which regulates the use of nuclear substances in Canada. Part of Rachel's role at the CNSC is to assess licence applications for cancer centres and ensure compliance for them.
